The purpose of the Planning Board is to evaluate land use proposals for conformity and insuring compliance with all laws, to ensure that proposed development within the Town of Davenport is compatible with the immediate neighborhood and surrounding areas, that the proposed development will be planned so as not to discourage additional development or lessen the value of other parcels of land in the vicinity.
